Cooking

This week in food technology we have been looking at cookies, On Wednesday we prepared the cookie dough and on Thursday we weighed them and cooked them. I was in a team with Shontae and May.

When we weighed all of our cookie dough is came to a total of 369g.

After we got our total we had to divide it by 12 because we were making 12 cookies and our answer was 30g per cookie so after we go that, we had made 12 cookies as equal as they could be.

Then we rolled them into balls and put the one cookie we weighed on the corner then, we pressed down all of the cookies with a fork so there would be lines after that Shontae and May put them in the oven for about 14 minutes.

While they were cooking Shontae had a prediction that the weight of the cookies would go down because when they are cooking all the moisture would come out. She was correct our cookies now weighed 30g. We took the cookies out when they were a nice golden colour.
