The Magician TT

Week 3 extension activity: The Magician
WALT: To include relative clauses in my writing.
Key task:
Write 5 (or more) sentences containing a “relative clause”?
E.g. The magician, who had incredible powers, strode confidently across the marble floor.
  1. It splits the main clause.
  2. The clause begins with ‘who’, ‘which’ or ‘with’.
  3. It must supply an extra bit of information to the sentence.
  4. Commas should surround the clause.

Think about these questions:
  • What mood do you think the magician is in?
  • Do you think he is a good or evil character?
  • If you could have magical powers, what would you choose to be able to do?
  • What do the words at the top of the picture say?
  • Who lives inside the house?

Success criteria:
I will know I am successful when I have:
  • Included a relative clause in my writing
  • Used who, which or with in my writing
  • Used commas to separate my clause

I am a magician, who had incredible powers, strode confidently across the marble floor.I am feeling like I am indestructible i’m feeling proud as proud as I can be.I think I am magnificent I am as nice as anyone can imagination.I wish I was transparent or camouflage but I dream to be as light as a feather.A boof of smoke came up and it spelt a word Minimint.I wonder why it said that doggy.Well were are my brother and sister they yell out to me
“Scotty come inside now mum wants you?” I said

“I'm coming now” It is time for dinner so I have to stop tell my story or it go on forever and ever so “BYE”
