Not far off the Somali coast one of the big Vestel cargo vessels is taken over by pirates! Within a split of a second the ship has a new captain, the soup is gone as well as the cargo itself. Will our Vestrons be able to strike back?
Before you start writing think about the setting and imagine you are there.
Somali pirates take over a huge cargo freighter at sea. Things don’t look good for the crew, until the pirates start to investigate the cargo—Vestrons! Engage!
Create
WALT write a narrative through the eyes of one of the crew, or robots.
- Describe the setting in detail.Think about words to describe the situation, what you see, smell, taste, hear. Try to use words that create the mood.
- Now…..Write a first person narrative through the eyes of one of the crew or one of the robots. How you are feeling when the boat is invaded by pirates.

One day the sun was rising at 6:30am the sea was crashing against the boat and we were still sleeping in a pitch black container. We woke up we were waiting for the smelly pirate to come on board this rust red boat to try and steal heap of our stuff but they don't know it's us. Then I hear them boarding the ship and then I hear them getting their guns,knifes,and also their fists.
They were going into all the rooms in the ship and pointing there guns at the pirates telling them to get down on their knees. Then the captain of the pirate’s told them to look in the containers and then we had to get really ready for battle.
He opened the door of the container.They opened the door and I was standing right there in the pitch black.They couldn't see me until I came out then all my brothers and sisters came out too.I stood in the middle of all the bright red containers and as blue as the sky containers.Then all the pirates stepped back and I came out I said “BOO” they all ran and I caught one of them. All my brother and sisters tripped them up and punched them and also shot a gun at them.They were scared so they got down on her knees and put there hands behind their back.
Now I have to go and deal with the captain. Well that is a pirate.I went up there and I tapped on his stinky old rusty vest and I said look out there.He looked out there and he said with his smelly breath “WOW”. Then he went down there and he said “let's go away from these sico robots”.
They left the rusty red ferry and took there stinky old bodies back to there home town.I like being mean but every once and awhile I get to be mean.I love my job I am an indestructible robot”YAH”. We told them “go home don't come back you stinky smelly pirates.”

One day this guy was doing a science experiment and he asked another guy if I could test it out for him and the guy said “yes I would love to help”. Then one day on the 23rd of October 2011 they met again and they tested it out. So the guy got out his acid for the science experiment then told the guy”can you please stand in that wardrobe thing and I will tip the acid on you”.Suddenly he jumped in the wardrobe. The other guy said “let's do it but first will it hurt or burn me” the other guy said”ok I am not going to lie about it but it will hurt but after about 5 seconds it will go away” the other guy said” I think I will be ok”.They counted to 3 1,2,3 BOOM then he realized that it was another acid.I spilt it on him and I forgot to read the bottle and it said THIS BOTTLE IS THE CLOUD POTION oops it was the wrong one he will stay a cloud for ever.
But one day on 2017 the guy who turned the other guy into a cloud was happy for him because he was rolling around the city.He was watching little kids and fighting crime and putting out fires with his rain.He had a happy bit of him inside but a angry bit inside. He was happy for people to have good days and happy for the kids playing on the playground. Before long he was also angry inside at the guy who turned into a cloud and so he still tries to find him till this day. The next day he was rolling around the city watching the kids playing and parents shopping but 1 hour after that he saw a big smoke cloud in the air and it was black. It was as black as tar just getting put on the the road.He goes over there and he says to himself I need to help these fire fighters. The fire fighter's engines were as loud as a jackhammer going into the ground.I said to myself “i'm going to help them” and so I went over there to them and I started to rain water on the fire and it puts out the fire for them, I was relieved that I helped someone today.
I am actually proud to say that I am a cloud because I know I can do more things being a cloud. I like doing all these missions and all the jobs I actually like being a cloud and being proud of myself for once.I'm glad I am a cloud.
